When you get home
- Remove your shoes
- Wash your hands at least for 20 seconds
- Change to clean clothes after being in crowded places, in shops, at work etc
- Wash your hands again
Don’t forget to clean your phone
Use your phone with clean hands and leave it on clean surfaces only.
Clean your phone regularly, especially if you have been using it in shops, at work etc
- Unplug all power sources, devices, and cables.
- Use household soap and water and a soft, lint-free cloth.
- Fabricants say you can use safely disinfectant wipes or use an alcohol-based solution (70%) and apply it to your phone with a microfiber cloth.
- Avoid excessive wiping.
- Don’t allow moisture to get into any openings.
Keep your house clean and tidy
What to use?
Ventilate your home every day. Use hot water and soap for anything that can be washed, all-purpose cleaner and a microfiber cleaning cloth or wipes or disinfectant product containing alcohol. Wash your cloths often. Keep all cleaning products away from kids.
Focus on surfaces often touched:
- Door handles
- Handles and front of cupboards and appliances as refrigerator, dishwasher, oven ecc
- Kitchen and bathroom surfaces, taps, toilets
- Tables and chairs
- Remote controls and game controllers
- Mouse and keyboard
- Mobile phones
- Light switches and switch plates
- Staircase railings
- Favourites toys
Laundry
Clean bed sheets, towels and clothes regularly. Don’t shake dirty laundry. Wash with detergent and use the warmest appropriate water setting and dry items completely.
Wash your hands immediately afterwards.
Wash or disinfect your laundry bag regularly. Consider storing laundry in disposable bags.
