Neylons Team hit the target for April “Healthy Body, Happy Mind” Challenge
In April, we were delighted to organise a “Healthy Body, Happy Mind Challenge”. 60 staff joined in the team effort to hit the 4000 kms target, the approximate distance around Ireland. We were very impressed by the team’s response and their enthusiasm. After only one week, the team had already reached 2000 kms and in total they walked, run, cycled 7635 kms over the month. We would like to thank every participant for their contribution and very well done everyone! They all made a special effort to move more, get some fresh air and eat healthier. Now that April is over, don’t forget to keep taking care of yourself!

Pieta House first opened its door in Lucan Dublin and since have helped over 58,000 people in suicidal distress or engaging in self-harm all around Ireland. Their services are free of charge and they provide a 24-hour freephone helpline and free counselling sessions. Pieta House also offer support to those who have been bereaved by suicide. €2000 can allow Pieta House to finance two entire programme of counselling services for one person with suicidal ideation, 200 calls with qualified counsellors on the helpline or 44 crisis counselling sessions between scheduled sessions.
Féileacáin was formed in 2009 by a group of bereaved parents affected by the loss of a baby during or after pregnancy. They wanted to support other parents in their pain. Losing a baby is one of the most significant losses someone might have to face in their lives, and while the pain may diminish over time it never goes away. Many families who lost babies in the past were not given the opportunity to mourn their baby appropriately. Féileacáin offer support to mums, dads and siblings. €2000 can allow Féileacáin to provide 40 Memory boxes to bereaved families, 10 months of helpline or 12 support meetings for up to 30 parents.
