We asked Ciprian 15 questions.
- What is your professional story?
I started my journey in the industry as a general operative, supervisor, and site manager in the company. Over the years, I advanced through various roles and got involved in operations, always driven by a passion for customer service, development and improving the service.
- Why did you choose to join the Neylons team?
Neylons’ reputation for innovation and its strong emphasis on employee development caught my attention in the early days. I wanted to be part of a dynamic team that values both people and results, and I could say that I grew up with the company.
- How would you describe your job to a bunch of kids?
Imagine I am like a football player in a big team. Everyone on the team has a special role, with unique skills and responsibilities, and my job is to ensure everyone works together, communicates and improves so we can win the game.
- What is your proudest moment at Neylons?
There are several. When we successfully completed a project ahead of schedule or passed an inspection, it showcased the true spirit of collaboration. Or when a team member gets promoted. Also getting a new contractor, and getting to start the project.
- What do you find the most challenging in your role?
I guess balancing the immediate needs of the day-to-day operations with long-term strategic planning.
- If you could get a new skill in 10 minutes, what would it be?
I believe that I would like to learn computer programming.
- How do you balance your career at Neylons and your personal life?
I am working to prioritise my time and ensure I set boundaries. It doesn’t always work and due to the business industry, unexpected happens quite often. I like planning weekends for my family.
- What’s something most people don’t know about you?
I often consider myself an open book. I have a passion for all things fast — from motorbikes and cars and planes. The flight particularly fascinates me, it’s captivating to watch planes and wonder how they operate.
- What would be three words to best describe you?
Dedicated, Innovative, Overthinker
- What’s the craziest thing you have ever done?
Probably buying a fast motorbike.
- What tv show/movie are you ashamed to admit you love?
Love Island

Do you guys get days off? I love spending time with my family, playing games with the twins, exploring and enjoying nature when the weather permits.

Listen to your gut and find the way.
- What is on your bucket list?
I’d love to experience and witness the Northern Lights and do a bit of travel.
