Founded in 2004, Neylons Facility Management gained their first-ever contract as the cleaning service provider for a Healthcare facility in Galway. Nobody could have foreseen then the growth Neylons would experience, bringing Neylons from humble beginnings to Ireland’s largest indigenous facilities management company.

Using the experience and reputation garnered from operating this contract, Neylons were successful in attaining other, larger cleaning contracts, especially in the healthcare setting. Highly renowned healthcare facilities such as the Hermitage Clinic, Beacon Hospital and Mater Private Cork put their trust in the service provided by Neylons.

This service was underpinned by an unwavering commitment to deliver the highest of cleaning standards to Neylons clients and was achieved using a multifaceted innovative approach. Neylons have always invested heavily in their staff, whether through self-created cleaning training programs such as iClean, or Neylons Academy for Growth. This commitment, combined with technological innovations such as NFC tagging, iScope and of course Flex CAFM software, have made Neylons a market leader in the industry.

While Neylons began to diversify into the delivery of many other facilities management services, the professionalism and dedication of Neylons staff ensured that many other cleaning contracts followed, and some of Neylons largest contracts are in the healthcare sector.

Neylons are very proud of the lengthy relationships with Ireland’s leading healthcare providers, and over the last number of years added further highly reputable clients to the portfolio, including Royal Victoria Eye and Ear Hospital, Blackrock Clinic, St. Vincents Private Hospital, Vhi and Laya Healthcare.

As proud as Neylons are of the standards delivered, the primary indicator of excellent service delivery is externally conducted audits. Neylons are assessed in the healthcare setting by the Joint Commission International, which identifies, measures and shares best practices in quality and patient safety around the world. To date, Neylons have an exceptional record of achievement, having passed every JCI inspection with flying colours.

Neylons are also continuously assessed under the Continuous Advancement Programme (CAP). This is a robust and extremely comprehensive series of inspections, and awards are based on the levels of excellence achieved. Neylons have been exceptionally successful in our CAP achievements, having been awarded multiple CAP Gold awards, and also CAP Platinum awards. Platinum awards can only be attained having maintained the CAP Gold standard for three consecutive years.

Neylons have provided excellent housekeeping service to Blackrock Clinic since 2018, they have been solution-driven, with no challenge too great.  On average, Neylons have achieved an Environment and Hygiene Audit Score of 95% and above.  The hospital have complete trust and confidence in their deliverables, and they have outperformed in their operational key performance indicators. The team on the ground have a can-do attitude and key team players.
