Frontline Workers Award in Kinsale

Today the team in Kinsale received their “Covid-19 Frontline Workers Award” Certificates. We wanted to recognise our amazing team for their hard work and selflessness.

Lovely words from the team showing that appreciation goes both ways. Anna, carer and housekeeper, says:

“Thank you for recognizing my hard work. I am very proud that I received a Covid-19 Frontline Workers Award. Since Covid-19 has started, everything has changed and even simple things have required more commitment from all of us. I always work hard to keep the highest standards, especially when caring for the residents. However, I am not able to do it alone. My work colleagues and the management team has offered me a lot of support and they deserve to be recognised. ”

Deirdre, site supervisor, shares:

“I am greatly honoured to receive the recognition of being a frontline worker. COVID-19 has negatively impacted our lives in 2020 but one positive outcome from this pandemic is seeing how much we care about each other. We also have shown how we respond in times of extreme crisis. ”
