Neylons Academy for Growth : Dan Davison
The Neylons Academy For Growth is a unique in-house training programme that provides all staff with an opportunity to progress to management level. This week we have one of our graduates from 2019. Dan is our Catering Manager. Read on to learn more about his journey with Neylons and his experience with the Neylons Academy for Growth.

Dan has over 20 years of experience in managing bakeries. His experience is invaluable with regard to keeping standards, both quality and of product and kitchens to the highest standards. In 2018, Dan has undertaken a challenging role with Neylons as Catering Manager. He has brought on significant improvements to the department. He was delighted when Maria Sava put him forward for the Neylons Academy For Growth.
While Dan was a leader in his field, the Neylons Academy for Growth, was still beneficial. The Academy allowed him to refine and develop his management skills as well as understand the culture of Neylons. One of the key areas the Academy focuses on is the ability to help others grow too. When managing a team nationwide Dan really needed to trust in his team. The skills he developed not only helped him but also the team he manages. His managers created supervisors and his supervisors helped new entrants grow too.
